The Life Spark Philosophy
We believe your body already knows how to heal — it just sometimes needs the right spark.
We believe every client is unique. We don’t use cookie-cutter protocols; your treatment evolves as your body shifts.
We blend Chinese medicine wisdom with modern diagnostics to address deep patterns — not just mask symptoms.

Sandra McKay-Billion
My path to acupuncture began early, rooted in a lifelong interest in history and holistic health. In my 20s, I worked as an archaeologist and artifact illustrator—until a back injury changed everything. After living with chronic pain for seven years, I tried acupuncture in 1999. One treatment brought complete relief. That experience was life-changing, and I began my training soon after. I’ve been devoted to this medicine ever since.
Today, I’m grateful to practice a career that allows me to help people heal, live pain-free, and build the families they dream of.
My Approach
Approach, Environment & Trauma-Informed Care
My clinical approach is patient-centered, inclusive, and trauma-informed. I provide care in a calm, supportive environment designed to promote nervous system regulation and trust. Treatment is individualized and evidence-informed, honoring each patient’s health history, goals, and lived experience while working collaboratively with referring providers.
